DALLAS, TEXAS – August 28, 2026 – Hall Group announced today that it has acquired 2525 McKinnon Street, a 112,000-square-foot boutique office building in Uptown Dallas. The eight-story property sits at the highly visible convergence of McKinnon Street, Olive Street, and Cedar Springs Road, one of the most sought-after corners in the city’s office submarket. The Dallas office of Eastdil Secured Savills advised on the transaction.
Built in 2003, the property will be renamed Hall Uptown as part of Hall Group’s plans to invest in a series of upgrades designed to enhance the tenant experience, including a refreshed lobby and common areas, new spec suites, and modernized building systems.
The property is steps from The Crescent, the Ritz-Carlton, and Hotel Swexan, and within a short walk of McKinney & Olive, Klyde Warren Park, and the Katy Trail. The property is also less than a mile from the future permanent headquarters of the Texas Stock Exchange. With immediate access to the Dallas North Tollway and Woodall Rodgers Freeway, the building sits at the center of Uptown’s live-work-play core while offering panoramic views of Uptown and the downtown skyline.
“Uptown Dallas is one of the premier office markets in the country,” said Craig Hall, Founder and CEO of Hall Group. “We’ve built our business by investing in great locations with lasting potential, and this acquisition is no exception. We see an opportunity to transform a well-located asset into a premier workplace that reflects the strength of the market.”
The acquisition builds on Hall Group’s experience owning, developing, and operating North Texas office space. The firm’s portfolio includes Hall Park, the 162-acre Frisco campus it began developing in 1989 that has grown to 16 office buildings and is now undergoing a multibillion-dollar transformation into a mixed-use district, and KPMG Plaza at Hall Arts, the 18-story, 500,000-square-foot tower that was the first office building constructed in downtown Dallas in nearly a decade and helped anchor the Dallas Arts District. Beginning next spring, Hall Group will establish dual headquarters at Hall Uptown and Hall Park, further expanding the company’s presence across North Texas.
Hall Group’s activity in the office sector also extends beyond its owned and developed portfolio. Through its subsidiary HALL Structured Finance, the company provides commercial real estate construction financing for new office developments and bridge financing for existing office assets in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Hall Group is also evaluating additional office acquisition opportunities, reflecting the company’s broader approach to the sector through development, ownership, financing and strategic acquisitions.
Leasing for Hall Uptown will be led by Hall Group Executive Vice President Kim Butler and Vice Presidents Brad Gibson and Rena Padachy.
